New Apartment Under Construction in Downtown Anaheim

​The mixed-use project will bring 220 rental units and 18,000 square feet of retail space in Downtown Anaheim. The developer of this project is Trammell Crow Residential. 


Prior to this new development, there was a vacant two story building along with surface parking on the 4.29 acre project site.

The new development, Alexan Uptown Anaheim, is located within walking distance to Center Street Promenade and is less than half-mile away from the popular Anaheim Packing District. The address of the development is 200 N. Lemon Street. The rendering of Alexan Uptown Anaheim shows a four story apartment building with retail on the ground floor. ​According to its environmental document, the ground floor retail would abut Anaheim Boulevard and at the corner of Lincoln Avenue and Anaheim Boulevard.

The site plan above shows a wrap around style apartment where the apartment building will wrap around the three story parking structure. Additional vehicle parking will be provided by constructing surface parking on the northern portion of the site. In total, this parking configuration will provide 503 vehicle parking spaces. 

Amenities would include a fitness center, clubhouse/community room, and swimming pool & spa. 

The project architect is Humphreys & Partners Architects.

The pictures above shows the vacant two story building and surface parking has been cleared and construction for the new apartment is underway. Construction for the Alexan Uptown Anaheim started in August 2016 and estimated completion is April 2019. 

Trammell Crow Residential also developed the Alexan Aspect in Fullerton.
