12 Story Hotel in Anaheim Will be Radisson Blu Hotel

Project Applicants, Greenlaw Partners, LLC and BDC/Anaheim, LLC, proposes a 12 story hotel near Anaheim Boulevard and I-5.

The triangular shaped proposed project site consists of 3.18 acres and is located in Anaheim near the eastern boundary of the Anaheim Resort district. More specifically, the project site is located at 1601 South Anaheim Boulevard. The project site is currently not developed.

Earlier, Developing OC reported that a 14 story hotel was proposed at the project site. However, the environmental document released by the City of Anaheim provides new details on the proposed project. The hotel is now proposed at 12 stories reaching 155 feet and 6 inches with a total of 326 hotel rooms. Additionally, a four-level parking structure with a total of 348 vehicle parking spaces. The hotel will be a Radisson Blu hotel.

Hotel amenities will be located at the ground floor which will include, "...a swimming pool, 3,552 square-foot restaurant, meeting space, fitness room, coffee shop, and gift shop" (p 4). Hotel amenities will also be available on the 12th floor, "a rooftop pool, sun deck, and 3,171-square-foot restaurant and bar" (p. 4).

The developers aim to start construction on the proposed project as early as May of this year.
